Our spaces are not an afterthought — they are part of the curriculum. At Cicasa Playspace, we have designed every corner of our centres with intention, knowing that the environment is a child’s third teacher.
We call them Power Playspaces: purposefully crafted zones that support different types of learning, exploration, and rest.
Indoor Space
Rich, dynamic, and always inviting.
Our indoor learning space is filled with thoughtfully selected materials, learning stations, and open-ended resources that encourage children to build, create, imagine, and collaborate. You’ll find reading corners, construction zones, art stations, dramatic play areas, and more — all arranged to give children agency and choice in how they explore.
The indoor space reflects our play-powered curriculum: busy, purposeful, and full of possibility.
Purposeful Play
Every child learns through play.
Our purposeful play environment is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning. Children are encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, collaborate, and express themselves with confidence.
More than just play, each activity is intentionally planned to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. It reflects our belief that when play has purpose, children develop the skills, resilience, and joy that form the foundation for lifelong learning.
Early Intervention Space
For children who need a little more.
Our early intervention space supports children with mild developmental differences or special needs. It is a dedicated, low-stimulation area where targeted, individualised support can take place — whether for speech and communication, fine motor skills, sensory processing, or social-emotional development.
We work closely with families and, where appropriate, external specialists, to ensure each child receives the support they need in a dignified and nurturing way.
Outdoor Space
Movement is not a distraction — it is essential.
Our outdoor space gives children the freedom to move, run, climb, and explore the physical world. Gross motor play builds strength, coordination, spatial awareness, and confidence. It also gives children the sensory input their developing nervous systems need.
Our outdoor area is designed to be safe, stimulating, and inclusive — welcoming children of all ages and abilities to engage with the world outside the four walls of a classroom.

Every child needs a place to breathe.
Our calm space is a dedicated area where children can self-regulate, decompress, and restore. Whether a child is feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or simply in need of a quieter moment, our calm space offers a soft, sensory-friendly environment that helps them return to a state of readiness.
This space is not a time-out area. It is a place of gentleness — and it reflects our belief that emotional wellbeing is inseparable from learning.
