Enrichment
Prcicasa-programmesgrammes

At Cicasa Playspace, enrichment is not a nice-to-have — it’s the heart of what we do.

Our enrichment programmes are designed to go beyond the classroom, giving children hands-on, play-based experiences that build real skills in language, literacy, numeracy, and cultural understanding. Every programme is thoughtfully crafted, taught in small groups, and delivered with the warmth and intentionality that defines everything we do.

LogicLingo

Phonics & Maths Play

Two of the most critical foundations in a child’s early education — language and numeracy — come alive in this unique combined programme.

LogicLingo is Cicasa’s English Phonics and Mathematics enrichment, designed for children who are building early literacy and numeracy skills simultaneously. Using manipulatives, letter tiles, play dough, pattern blocks, and structured games, children develop a deep and playful understanding of how words and numbers work.

This is not worksheets and drills. This is learning through doing — and it sticks.

Ci-Fonik

Bahasa Melayu Phonics — Fonik Menarik

Learning to read Bahasa Melayu is a milestone every Malay-speaking child deserves to reach with confidence — and a little magic along the way.

Ci-Fonik is Cicasa’s Bahasa Melayu phonics programme, built around the belief that the best way to learn a language is through discovery, not drilling. Children work with tactile materials, letter cards, sensory trays, and playful activities to learn how sounds and letters come together in Bahasa Melayu.

It’s phonics — made menarik (interesting).

What children learn
  • Recognising and pronouncing individual letters (menyebut huruf)
  • Reading consonant-vowel syllables — suku kata KV
  • Reading combined syllable patterns — gabungan suku kata (V+KV)
  • Identifying and using vowel sounds — huruf vokal
  • Writing syllables and simple words
  • Sounding out vowel letters and blending them fluently

Chi-Read

Mandarin Tuition — Mandarin Magic

Mandarin is one of the most powerful languages a child can grow up with — and at Cicasa, we make sure the journey to fluency feels like an adventure, not a chore.

Chi-Read is our play-based Mandarin tuition programme, designed to build genuine language skills through storytelling, songs, games, and tactile exploration. Children trace characters in sand, sort colourful flashcards, build words with blocks, and sing their way into confidence.

We don’t just teach Mandarin — we make children fall in love with it.

What children learn
  • Speak with confidence in everyday Mandarin
  • Recognise and read Chinese characters
  • Master basic strokes and character formation
  • Play through storytelling and imaginative scenarios
  • Sing Mandarin songs joyfully and expressively

Arabic Play

Play-Based Arabic
Age: 3 and Above

Arabic doesn’t have to feel like a subject. At Cicasa, we make it feel like play.

Arabic Play is our signature programme that uses a brain gym approach to bring the Arabic language to life for young children. Through movement, sensory materials, clay, tiles, and hands-on activities, children explore Arabic letters, sounds, and conversation in a joyful, low-pressure environment.

Sessions are kept intentionally small — a 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio — so every child gets the individual attention they need to grow in confidence.

SCHEDULE

Weekly on Wednesdays, 4pm–8pm, or Saturdays, 11am–3pm
(1 hour per session | Low ratio: 1:3 per session)

What children learn
  • Everyday Arabic vocabulary for real-life situations
  • Basic Arabic greetings and common expressions
  • Simple Arabic conversations, practised with confidence
  • Exposure to Arabic language and culture
  • Memorisation of daily du’as and basic surahs

Abacus & Mental
Arithmetic Training

Numbers are not just something children memorise — they’re something children can feel, see, and manipulate. Our Abacus and Mental Arithmetic programme trains children to visualise and calculate with speed, accuracy, and confidence.

Through the ancient tool of the abacus, children develop a deep intuition for numbers that lays the groundwork for strong mathematical thinking in primary school and beyond. With consistent practice, many children progress to mental arithmetic — performing calculations in their heads with remarkable ease.

What children learn:
  • Numerical fluency and number sense
  • Concentration and mental focus
  • Speed and accuracy in calculation
  • Left and right brain coordination
  • Confidence in mathematics
Available only under Student Care, Not for Public Sign Up.

Coding Programmes

The world our children are growing up in runs on code — and we believe the earlier they start thinking computationally, the more confident and capable they become.

Our Coding Programme introduces children to the fundamentals of logical thinking, sequencing, and computational problem-solving through age-appropriate, hands-on activities. From unplugged coding games to beginner block-based programming, children build skills that translate directly into the digital world — and the classroom.

What children learn:
  • Logical and sequential thinking
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Creativity through technology
  • Confidence with digital tools
  • Foundations for STEM learning
